We are Southern Baptist because we hold to the doctrines of believers baptism, regenerate church membership and the autonomy of the local church. These are Baptist distinctives that are core to being a Christian that is a Southern Baptist.
We are Confessional
We hold to Baptist Faith & Message of 2000 as a minimal standard of what we believe and we hold to the Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689 as a more thorough and complete statement of what we believe to be True Bible Doctrine.
We are Calvinistic
We hold to the doctrines of Grace nicknamed the "Five Points of Calvinism" because they are a summary of the sovereignty and glory of God in salvation
We are a Founders Friendly Church
