Our vision at GracePointe Baptist Church is “To be a thoughly biblical church that passionately seeks God’s manifested presence and leadership.” We seek to accomplish this by preaching, teaching, singing, budgeting, and building according to the purpose God has revealed in the Bible, for this will bring glory to Him through our lives. (Rom 11:36)
Preach, Teach and Practice the Word of GodPreach the Word – God has chosen the preaching of His Word to bring to salvation those who belong to Christ. Therefore we preach the Word of God and not man’s opinion or today’s “happy topic.” We preach the whole counsel of God and leave nothing out. Teach the Word – Without Bible truth, no one ever becomes a Christian and no Christian ever grows. This is why we teach the Word of God verse-by-verse and chapter-by-chapter. The Holy Scriptures are the supreme authority for every believer in Christ. Practice the Word – We put into practice the doctrines that we claim to believe because God wants us to do as James 1:22 says “to be doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving ourselves.” We encourage each other to practice what we hear and put into application the principles (comprehensive and fundamental laws, doctrines, rules and code of conduct) of God’s Word – the Holy Bible. |
